HCPC Brands Europe B.V. does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies on this website. We do not build visitor profiles and we do not sell or share browsing data with third parties for marketing purposes. Below is a complete and transparent overview of every piece of technology on this site that stores information on your device.
2. What We Actually Use
| Site language cookie | Our website is built with the Polylang plugin, which sets a strictly functional cookie ("pll_language") to remember which language version of the site (e.g. English, Dutch, German) you are browsing, so that navigation and page links stay in your selected language. This cookie does not track your browsing behaviour, is not used for advertising or analytics, and is not shared with third parties. It is considered "strictly necessary" under the ePrivacy Directive because it exists solely to deliver the language version you actively selected, and therefore does not require separate consent. |
| Web fonts | Our website loads typefaces (Cormorant Garamond, DM Sans) from Google Fonts servers. This connects your browser directly to Google and transmits your IP address, in order to display our website's typography correctly. Google may process this as described in Google's own privacy policy. No cookies are set by this connection. |
| Contact form | Our contact form submits directly to our own server (no third-party service) and uses a one-time security token (WordPress nonce) to prevent spam abuse. This token is not a tracking cookie and expires immediately after use. |
| Embedded map (optional) | Our Contact page offers an embedded Google Maps location. This map is not loaded automatically — it only loads after you actively click the "Click to load map" button. Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies, governed by Google's own privacy policy, which is outside our control. If you prefer not to have any Google cookies set, simply don't click to load the map; our address remains available as plain text nearby. |
Because the map is only loaded after your explicit click, no consent banner is required — nothing is loaded on page visit itself.

4. Managing Cookies
You can view, manage, or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings (usually under Privacy / Site Data). Deleting the language cookie will simply reset the site to its default language on your next visit — nothing else is affected, and no other data is lost.

If we ever introduce analytics, advertising, or any other non-essential tracking technology in the future, we will update this policy and implement a consent banner beforehand, as required under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.
